📋 Cancellation & Payment Policy

Payment
Full payment is required when you book. Your appointment is confirmed once payment is received.
Prices are per document. Add every document and copy you need before you book. At the appointment, anything not already booked and paid for is added to your bill: an extra document or copy, an extra signature that needs its own notarization, or a document that turns out to be a different type than the one you selected (for example a power of attorney booked as a general notarization). You pay the difference before we finish.
Cancellations
Cancelled more than 24 hours before the appointment: 50% of the amount paid is kept as a cancellation fee, with a minimum of $200. If you paid $200 or less, no refund is issued.
Cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment: no refund. Your payment can be applied to a new appointment only if you choose the new date and time when you cancel.
Once the notary is on the way or has arrived: no refund.
No-shows: no refund.
Refunds are issued only for a duplicate payment or a billing error.
No-Show & Signer Issues
No refund if: the signer refuses to sign, is not alert or willing, lacks valid ID, or required witnesses are missing and the client did not arrange them. Once the trip has begun, no refund is issued regardless of outcome.
